3. Attacking Road Warrior Hawk At A Kid Rock Concert
Hawk and Savage actually went two rounds under very different circumstances. Their first skirmish happened backstage at a New Japan Pro-Wrestling show in 1996. Although it's unclear what the two men were arguing about, it ended with Hawk decking Savage and knocking him out cold. Fast-forward three years and both men just happened to be backstage at a Kid Rock concert at the Sun Dome in Tampa, Florida. Attempting to let bygones be bygones, Hawk extended his hand to Savage who blew it off and then came back with a sucker punch which staggered the Road Warrior. Hawk regained his composure and the two men had a pull-apart but that wasn't the end of it. Savage's girlfriend and WCW manager Stephanie Bellars (Gorgeous George) and her sister viciously attacked Hawk's wife, leaving her with permanent damage. A lawsuit was threatened over the damage done to Hawk's wife but it never came to fruition. It's incredible that after three years and spending time together in WCW that Randy had not forgotten and certainly not forgiven.
