9. Raven Comes Close To Cutting The Power! - WrestleMania 17

ECW legend Raven nearly took the whole of WrestleMania X-Seven off the air in his enjoyable and entertaining triple threat match for the Hardcore title with Big Show and Kane. There was a spot in the match where Raven hopped on a golf cart and a chase ensued with Raven driving over cables that were supplying electricity to the whole building. Raven has claimed “I came within millimeters of turning off the power in the entire building. One of the crew members came to me and said, ‘Do you have any idea how close you came? You were within millimeters of running over the cables that supplied power to the entire building.’”

One can only imagine Vince McMahon’s rage if Johnny Polo was the one responsible for taking the most celebrated WrestleMania off the air only 6 months into his run with the company, with classic matches that came after his match like Rock/Austin, Angle/Benoit and the TLC classic not being able to go ahead.

Thankfully the power stayed on and fans were able to witness them along with Raven being dethroned when Kane dropped a big leg drop off the stage onto Big Show for the win and title.
