6. Ninja Mack Vs. Brian Cage

Ninja Mack realised what he was in for the second Tully Blanchard introduced Brian Cage as his brand new charge.

Launching himself at 'The Machine' with a dive following multiple backflips, Mack tried in vain to get an advantage but trying was all he could do as Cage ripped him limb from limb in an outstanding re-introduction of a character that had been iced in AEW for months.

The Dallas fans roared their approval for his violence in a way he hadn't received during his feud with Team Taz, suggesting that Tony Khan's decision to move him to his new company rather than his first one was fairly inspired. Likewise for Blanchard, who felt refreshed in the role away from FTR and the crumbling Pinnacle.

As Blanchard and Cage celebrated their victory, they were joined by fellow Tully Blanchard Enterprises members Kaun and Toa Liona, allowing the group an undefeated and undeniably excellent first night on the job.
