5. Scott Smith vs. Pete Sell (TUF: The Comeback Finale)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2-EexAXMsLE This fight is a largely forgotten classic between two warriors who put it all on the line and gave everything they had to entertain the people. Scott Smith is notorious for being a slightly above average fighter with some miraculously awesome performances to his credit, and this scrap is near the top of the list. The fight is pretty much babyface vs. babyface, with both guys trading bombs and then smiling and high-fiving, celebrating each other's warrior spirit. It's an incredible fight and what happens at the end solidifies it as an all-timer. Sell had Smith hurt badly, with a body shot that you could see break not only his ribs but his will. He had a clear look of agony on is face and was in the midst of crumbling to the mat when "Drago" rushed in to finish him off. Never one to give up, Scott Smith uses his last gasp of strength to throw a perfect straight right that connected with Sell's jaw, dropping him to the mat unconscious while Smith collapses next time, pain searing through his frame. It was like a scene from a movie and made Scott Smith look like Rocky. Apply this to a wrestling setting and give the finish to a plucky underdog face who looks on the verge of defeat, but then with his last ounce of energy hits a high impact maneuver that brings both his opponent to the mat in a pile of suffering. All the pops.
