9 Next WWE Steps For The Miz
1. WWE World Championship
Looking some distance into the future, and providing The Miz can sustain the momentum his character has managed to acquire, I don’t see any reason why we couldn’t see him make a return to the WWE World Championship scene.
Admittedly the Brand Split may have helped his cause, because beyond the current champ AJ Styles, The Miz is arguable the best heel on the entire SmackDown roster, other than possibly Bray Wyatt.
Presumably they’re not going to keep the title on AJ forever, so there may well come a time where The Miz is the best choice for another stint as the champion of the world.
Of course, this wouldn’t just be an arrangement born out of necessity. The Miz’s past could make this a compelling story given that his original world title run was hardly the greatest of all time, making this reminiscent of a redemption angle in which he needs to prove himself once and for all.
It may seem like a stretch right now, but looking at the current SmackDown roster, and putting faith in The Miz’s hot streak continuing, another WWE World Championship run could well be a realistic possibility for 2017.
