9 NXT Stars That Would Make A Huge Impact On WWE's Main Roster

5. Hideo Itami

Hideo Itami is widely considered one of the best professional wrestlers on the globe today. The WWE Universe was buzzing with anticipation when the legendary KENTA, one of New Japan Pro Wrestling€™s finest exports, had signed a WWE contract and would be making his presence known in the continued growth of the NXT brand. Though he may have been sidelined with an injury for the past number of months, Itami didn€™t waste any time in WWE before making an impact, capturing a spot in the André the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania and eliminating Bo Dallas before being tossed out himself by the Big Show. Itami will likely venture out to capture the NXT Championship and continue to improve his English before he debuts, but before too long, we should be seeing Itami on the main roster. Itami can start off slow, possibly even getting into a rivalry with Bo Dallas, since the continuity of their WrestleMania encounter could be grounds enough for a feud. If WWE really wanted to go back to WrestleMania, Itami could feud with Big Show as well. Once Hideo Itami is established on the main roster in minor feuds, then he would be the perfect candidate for an Intercontinental Championship reign. The title commands respect, and with his grace and composure in a WWE ring, not to mention the fact that he looks great in a suit, Itami would make for a fitting champion. The only thing holding him back is the language barrier. After that, the sky is the limit for this man.
