9 NXT Stars That Would Make A Huge Impact On WWE's Main Roster
4. Bayley
Bayley is one of the most beloved wrestlers in the WWE today, with her fun-loving attitude and friendly nature, but also given the fact that when she steps in the ring, she can get the job done. Her last two encounters with Sasha Banks at NXT Takeover events have been monumental not just for each competitor, but for womens wrestling as a whole. It should come as no surprise that in the absence of Charlotte, Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks, the one remaining horsewoman represents the NXT brand as its womens champion. Bringing Bayley up could be a godsend and yet another revitalisation that the Divas division sorely needs, but on the flipside, it is possible that her character wont translate well with the main roster audience. We saw with Emma, how her bubbly personality came across one way on NXT and another on Monday Night Raw. Her alliance with Santino Marella didnt necessarily help either. The same could happen with Bayley considering her character is a lot more positive and, in a way, childish than weve grown accustomed to. The best way to counteract this is merely to embrace it. Have Bayley get involved in a heated rivalry with the Bella Twins, with Nikki demeaning Bayley and saying that nobody wants someone so seemingly immature to represent the WWE brand as the Divas Champion. It could create an epic underdog story with Bayley eventually capturing the title from Nikki, who would have to reclaim the title from Charlotte in the near future. The payoff would be tremendous and establish Bayley as a worthy Divas Champion.
