The first two seasons of Ruthless Aggression have profiled the likes of Cena, RVD, Lesnar, and Hollywood Rock, but a major player who has flown under the radar thus far is Kurt Angle. In the run-up to his leaving for TNA, there’s a strong argument to be made that he was the best talent in the company, and his four years of Ruthless Aggression are packed with highlights.

In this period, Angle tapped out Hulk Hogan (and everyone else on the roster), gave The Undertaker some of the best matches of his career, had an all-time great match with Shawn Michaels at one WrestleMania and headlined another.

Kurt Angle was the wrestling machine during this time, but he could still dial up the comedy like few others, trying to mask his hair loss or cutting a promo about tapping out Jesus. He was amazingly over (he gets the biggest pop in Mysterio’s world title-winning match) and rightly so.

Angle is always a fascinating and honest interview - there are some dark moments of substance abuse to cover here - and his peers are always keen to highlight just how singular a talent he was. He absolutely deserves an episode of his own.
