9 Reasons Triple H vs Roman Reigns Is The Best WrestleMania 32 Main Event

6. Hunter's Still A Huge Name

It's more an indictment on the current creative than it is the talent, but the top tier - and in many cases even mid tier - wrestlers from The Attitude Era are still viewed as much bigger stars than 99% of the modern roster. We can again blame 50/50 booking as well as the overall stale state of the product, but it's a real problem. Take the HHH/Sting match from last year's Mania for example: Here's a guy who was 20 years past his prime at the ripe age of 56, had never set foot in WWE yet still came off like a big deal and was treated accordingly by the fans. Meanwhile they've had eight years to take Dolph Ziggler to the next level and despite a good amount of talent he's no better off than he was a few years after the character's debut. WWE really only has four or five guys who are viewed as actual "superstars" capable and willing to step into the ring and work a match at this show and Triple H is chief among them. It's not about workrate, it's about spectacle and like it or not he brings that to the table.
