Abyss Eloctrocutes Matt Hardy

For fans who are enjoying what TNA is doing right now with the Hardy brothers, Bobby Lashley, Eli Drake and the rest of the roster, well...things are about to change. They could get better, but things will definitely feel very different soon.

Billy Corgan was a big proponent of the Hardys, and was a fan of pushing the boundaries of what we've seen storytelling-wise in the wrestling industry over the decades. Many fans will never enjoy some of the brother's outlandish antics, but Matt and Jeff have helped create a buzz for the company that hasn't been there in years. Will the new management team be a supporter of them as well? Will they "get it" and continue to still hand out money to the brothers to continue with their bold and wacky ways?

Over the past few months we've also seen the introduction of the Grand Championship, Team X Gold and the debut of the DCC stable. Those were all ideas that Corgan was heavily involved with, and they might not be long for this world. If they do stick around, they'll assuredly take on different forms as we don't know what his long term vision for any of those concepts were.

Hopefully TNA sticks close to the same course they're on from a creative standpoint, but that's going to be hard since key personnel are already gone...

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
