7. Triple H Didn't Even Make Eye Contact When Corbin Was Called Up

Having just worked with Austin Aries at the NXT TakeOver: Dallas event in April, 2016, Corbin was feeling a bit disappointed by his match. When Triple H called him over for a private chat, Baron thought for sure his mentor felt the same. Triple H didn't, he just wanted to tell the rookie he was being promoted to the main roster.

As if that wasn't enough, 'The Game' informed Baron that he had a berth in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania just 24 hours later. Making things even more surreal for Corbin (who was struggling to take all of this in), Triple H didn't even make eye contact with him and instead continued texting on his phone.

After delivering the good news, he simply walked out and left Corbin speechless. That must have been a weird moment for Baron; between all his hard work paying off and the apparent apathy of his boss towards what should have been an emotional moment, Corbin couldn't believe how nonchalant Triple H was.
