After taking a year off to recover from the concussion suffered at Thatcher's school, Anderson returned to pro wrestling at the Northern Wrestling Federation (based in Cincinnati).

He resumed his training and a few months later was ready for his first professional match. Anderson used his real name (Chad Allegra) in a losing effort against a mysterious chap known as The Zodiac.

His second match saw him come up against an equally mysterious guy called Prince Justice. That name might not ring any bells, but the future persona of Mr. Justice may be more familiar.

Ol' Prince Justice would go on to find 'fame' in TNA as 'The Monster' Abyss, one of the longest-tenured wrestlers in the company and one who still performs there to this day.

Information on who won the epic battle between Chad Allegra and Prince Justice isn't available, but both have since gone on to do pretty well for themselves.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
