9 Things WWE Got Right At Extreme Rules 2017

3. Bray Wyatt Ending The Samoa Joe Alliance

For all the hatred WWE fans throw at Roman Reigns, he's still technically a babyface. The same can be said for both Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, meaning Bray Wyatt and Samoa Joe were the only true heels in the Fatal-5-Way main event. WWE depicted this brilliantly.

Aligning against the good guys, Wyatt and Joe looked like they were enjoying the carnage as they used steel steps and steel chairs to dish out pain. At some point, one had to betray the other, and it was vital that WWE chose the right man for that role. Throw on the party hats, because they did.

Bray is exactly the kind of manipulative sod who would double cross someone after using them for his own gain. Throwing Joe in harm's way, Wyatt let his Samoan pal eat a dive from Rollins before attempting to capitalise and win the match.

Wyatt's character has been repeatedly assassinated by WWE, so it was nice to see them let him shine here.
