Marcos Gomes is the one recruit out of nine new ones that WWE didn't go into much detail on in their official report. That's fine, because this MMA bad ass is very much a case of more than meets the eye. His unassuming, blank stare doesn't reveal exactly how dangerous he is.

For the avoidance of any doubt, that's very dangerous.

When he's not training to become a pro wrestler, Gomes works as a Muay Thai instructor. That's not his speciality though; big Marcos is actually more of a Jiu-Jitsu man, and he dabbles in some boxing training and amateur wrestling work too. In short, he's a 260lbs fighting machine.

Gomes must be fascinated by the thought of working daily at a world class facility like WWE's Performance Center. Hopefully, he manages to excel in other aspects that are important to WWE life, like promos and developing a character. Only time will tell.
