9 Things You Probably Saw For The Last Time At WrestleMania 32

When Cody Rhodes morphed into Stardust in order to prove himself an adequate tag team partner for Goldust back in June 2014, not many expected it to be long-term gimmick.

Whilst Cody put his all into making work (and succeeded to a degree), there has always been assumption that 'Cody Rhodes' is too obvious a star for WWE to miss.

All of which makes it even more ridiculous that almost two years later Cody still finds himself donning the face paint.

Rumours continue to abound that the character will soon be retired, with Cody himself fuelling them further with a fairly unambiguous tweet back in January, one that simply stated 'Stardust is coming to an end'.

WrestleMania 32 may very well mark the final WrestleMania appearance for Cody Rhodes as Stardust, at least until some nostalgia battle royal at WrestleMania 45 or something.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
