9 Things You Probably Saw For The Last Time At WrestleMania 32

5. A WrestleMania Without Finn Balor

Every now and then, a professional wrestler comes along who just has 'it'. I'm not entirely sure what 'it' is, but Finn Balor is one such performer who has it in spades.

Balor currently stands proud as the NXT Champion, and is closing in on a much-deserved spot as the longest-reigning champion in NXT history.

As NXT continues to move its stars on to the main roster, it is difficult to see who will dethrone Balor as NXT Champion. Whoever it may be, it is almost unthinkable that WrestleMania 33 will come around without Balor on the card in some shape or form, with a position of prominence being the most likely scanrio.

In some ways, this doesn't even seem like a prediction, more an inevitability. Injuries notwithstanding, it may be a long time before we see a WrestleMania without the presence of Finn Balor.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
