7. The Gift Of Love

When you think of The Undertaker and managers, the chances are you think of The Undertaker and Paul Bearer. Younger fans will therefore be somewhat ignorant to the fact that 'Taker's first manager in WWE was none other than everyone's favourite weirdly-erotic red-faced televangelist, Brother Love. Bearer quickly replaced Love however, and by 2003 'Taker himself had been replaced by weird short-haired ginger biker 'Taker.

The Deadman was feuding with Big Show and Paul Heyman at the time, and one week after Brian Kendrick made his debut by getting slaughtered by 'Taker the duo of Show and Heyman had yet another gift for Big Evil. 'Taker tentatively opened the gift, only for Brother Love to stroll out. Bro Lurv subsequently gave 'Taker a big ol' hug - and 'Taker ain't a hugger.

The crowd didn't really respond too strongly, on account of it being 12 years since the two had been on-camera together and most of the crowd didn't have a clue who Brother Love was. Not so long after emerging from the box Brother Love had no clue who Brother Love was, as 'Taker delivered a Chokeslam and Tombstome Piledriver to poor ol' Brother Love.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
