Whilst we're on the subject of The Undertaker and managers, he's had his modern run-ins with Paul Bearer as well. Of course, these were generally swept under the rug whenever Bearer was to return on the Deadman's side, but there we go. Memory isn't everything after all.

Bearer returned in 2010 by 'Taker's side, not long after the Deadman had recovered from his vegetative state. Wrestling is weird. He was put in that state by none other than his half-brother, Kane, who may or may not have been the biological child of Bearer. Wrestling is very weird.

Bearer quickly turned on Undertaker however, shining a light from the urn into his eyes, allowing Kane to pick up the victory inside Hell in a Cell. Bearer would go on to be abused by Edge in Kane's next feud, before being locked in a freezer by Kane in 2012.

So for those keeping count, Bearer was buried in cement and locked in a freezer during his time in WWE.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
