Cody Rhodes Big Show WrestleMania 28

Big Show's WWE career retrospective is going to be very interesting indeed. Whilst Show is clearly a legend of the industry, his career has seen some immense highs mixed with a whole lot of bizarre and strange lows. In the build-up to their bout at WrestleMania XXVIII, Cody Rhodes made something of a habit of bringing those moments to the attention of anyone and everyone, causing Show to lose a number of matches in the process.

Whether it was Show missing WrestleMania X8 and spending it eating with fans, looking utterly preposterous in sumo wrestling gear in a loss to Akebono, or getting knocked out by Floyd Mayweather, the end of the Road to WrestleMania in 2012 was particularly humiliating for Big Show. His past was coming back to haunt him on a seemingly weekly basis.

Of course, this all made it a given than Show was going to defeat Rhodes for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII, and this is exactly what happened.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
