9 Times Wrestlers Were Draped In Gold
3. The Young Bucks
At this point, it looks weird anytime the Young Bucks aren't carrying multiple tag team championships to the ring. They're the current Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions and the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions. (Plus they often throw in their own Superkick Party championships, probably just for the sake of balance.)
It's interesting how many wrestling promotions entrust them with tag team gold when you consider that the Bucks of Youth are one of the more controversial teams in the sport today. Some people detest their superkick-loaded matches or the flamboyant spot-heavy style they represent, but whether you love them or loathe them, there's no denying that fans flock to see these Bullet Club stalwarts do their thing in the ring.
Last year, they held the tag belts in ROH, PWG, and New Japan simultaneously. That's a lot of gold.
The fact that they've accomplished that particular feat on two separate occasions? Seriously impressive.
