9 Times Wrestlers Were Draped In Gold
2. Ultimo Dragon, Man Of Many Belts
When you think of a wrestler being absolutely covered in championship gold, Ultimo Dragon should come to mind. Seeing him with fewer than eight titles was a rarity in the '90s.
This was thanks to Ultimo Dragon winning the J-Crown, a collection of eight titles from various federations (including, weirdly enough, the WWF Light Heavyweight Title) that had been unified into a single "championship."
So, win one match, you get eight belts. That's damned efficient.
Plus, Ultimo Dragon was already the NWA Middleweight Champion when he captured the J-Crown, meaning he was toting around nine titles. Factor in his victory over Dean Malenko for WCW's Cruiserweight Championship, and you've got yourself a ten-belt salute.
Still, that's ten belts in three victories, which puts him behind another multiple champion...
