9 Times Wrestlers Were Draped In Gold
4. Zack Sabre Jr.
One of the standouts of the booming British wrestling scene, Zack Sabre Jr. is one of the best technical wrestlers in the world today. He is the standard-bearer for submission wrestling, and right now, he's the King of the Indies.
Up until a few days ago, ZSJ was the world champion of three different promotions. Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, Revolution Pro Wrestling, and Evolve all entrusted him to represent their brands -- he just lost the PWG Championship to Chuck Taylor -- and it's hard to blame them. He puts on excellent matches all over the world, and never fails to impress.
And being a multiple champion hasn't stopped him from challenging for more gold elsewhere. He's recently competed in New Japan for both the NEVER Openweight Championship and the newly created IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship.
You never know where he'll turn up next, or who he'll be tapping out.
