9 Times WWE Disrespected The Cruiserweights

2. Jacqueline Moore - Cruiserweight Champion

The WWE Cruiserweight Championship actually had a decent couple of years between spring 2002 and 04. The title was presented in a proper manner, the wrestlers had storylines and Michael Cole and Tazz actually made an effort to promote the division on commentary. Matt Hardy (Version 1.0) and Rey Mysterio even main evented the June 5th episode of Smackdown in a near-20-minute Cruiserweigh Championship main event. Things were good. Oh, how they all turned sour... By May 2004, WWE had seemingly grown resentful of their smaller wrestlers and began the process of burying the division. The underrated Chavo Guerrero dropped the title to Jacqueline Moore, of all people. Although her rain only lasted twelve days, it did much to devalue the title (and Chavo). Eddie's nephew reclaimed the belt at Judgement Day in a comedy match where he had one arm tied behind his back. Heaping on the misery, Chavo inadvertently lost the title again two days later, this time to his father, Chavo Classic. Things would get so much worse, however...
