9 Ups & 1 Down For AEW Collision (Dec 16 - Results & Review)

6. A Nice Showcase For Bryan Keith

AEW Collision Orange Cassidy Bryan Keith
AEW

Orange Cassidy is one AEW talent guaranteed to get a major reaction each and every time he's on TV, and Bryan Keith's home state of Texas reacted to him like a big deal, making for a fun dynamic and a fully invested crowd.

Having impressed at ROH Final Battle on Friday, Keith certainly made the most of his AEW minutes here, getting some nice nearfalls on Freshly Squeezed before Cassidy grabbed the 1-2-3. While some may say this bout was maybe a smidge too competitive, the Bounty Hunter nonetheless impressed, particularly when it came to his kicks and that jumping headbutt spot in the corner.

Tony Khan could do a lot worse than sign Bryan Keith, and if that does indeed prove the case, having him take so much in a match against a name like Orange Cassidy is certainly a strong first impression to give your audience about BK. Of course, if Bryan Keith doesn't end up being signed, then you've had one your hottest stars go toe-to-toe with an 'outsider' for no particular reason.

Either way, this way an enjoyable bout that showcased some great chemistry between Keith and Cassidy.
