Away from the in-ring element of AEW Collision, this latest episode nicely kept certain plates spinning through backstage promos and vignettes.

The Acclaimed and Daddy Ass returned to put the Devil and his goons on notice, and also to set up an AEW Trios Titles match against Top Flight and Action Andretti. Miro let us know that he's not targeting Andrade El Idolo merely because Andrade is CJ Perry's new client, but more because the Redeemer thinks El Idol is an a**hole. FTR's problems with the House of Black took on a more personal edge, as Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews torched a picture of Dax Harwood and his wife and daughter. 'Timeless' Toni Storm gave her thoughts on the upcoming Saraya vs. Riho match, where the winner - a t*tless, blind baldie, of course - will get a crack at Storm's AEW Women's Championship. And Adam Copeland demanded a rematch against Christian Cage at World's End later this month.
