9 Ups & 2 Downs For AEW Collision (Nov 11 - Results & Review)

7. More Dalton Castle Is Always A Good Time

AEW Collision Dalton Castle The Boys

While it would've been great to see Dalton Castle featured in a more meaningful way, it's nonetheless always a good time whenever the Party Peacock gets to appear on AEW television.

Castle is one of the most underrated, underappreciated talents under Tony Khan's umbrella, yet his use in AEW and ROH has been so hugely frustrating for those familiar with Dalton's time in the pre-Khan Ring of Honor. A former ROH World Champion, Castle was such a highlight of that promotion over the years. For his time in AEW, the 37-year-old has bafflingly only had four one-on-one TV matches; two of which were challenging for ROH titles.

Still, Dalton Castle's role here on Collision was simply to be a capable hand for Nick Wayne to get a win over, complete with interference from both Luchasaurus and Christian Cage. Those distractions from Wayne's cohorts gives Castle a way of somewhat saving face, while also giving young Nick another solid win as he continues to cements his villainous ways.

The larger picture right now was putting some momentum behind Nick Wayne ahead of his big six-man match at AEW Full Gear next weekend, but hopefully consecutive Collision appearances by Castle and his Boys means the trio will become a more permanent fixture of Collision or wider AEW programming.
