3. John Cena's Scathing Comments

The kayfabe-shattering promo-ing continued without hesitation when John Cena called Bray Wyatt an over-privileged waste of space who had chosen to bitch and moan instead of using his talent. Cena didn't stop there - he put over names like Drew McIntyre, Tommaso Ciampa, Rhea Ripley, Velveteen Dream, Matt Riddle and more as the future of WWE.

They deserved the chances Wyatt had been given, he said.

This was the best of John Cena. Like Roman Reigns, he's better without the comedic touches, and his intensity is unmatched once he's mid-promo. Where has this realistic approach to feuds been over the past while? This was one million times better than any brand warfare at Survivor Series or soap opera fakery involving Lana, Bobby Lashley and Rusev.

Cena came out looking like a disappointed leader ready to torch someone he once believed in for getting lazy. That visceral blast let Wyatt fire back at John for hardly ever being here, and for pushing him down years ago at 'Mania XXX.
