4. Killer Performances In The Cage

Cody Rhodes Solo Sikoa Steel Cage

Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa brought everything they had for this steel cage title rematch. The pair made full use of every cage-related gimmick available to them. Smashing each other into the mesh? Check. Escaping over the top, or trying to? Check. Using the door as a weapon? Check. Blood? Check.

There was an old-school NWA vibe to everything that rocked. Knowing a traditionalist like Cody, that was totally deliberate. This was arguably Solo's best WWE match to date too. It was a powerful showing from someone who doesn't get a lot of credit from fans online these days, and was defo the closest he's come to looking like a genuine main eventer.

The cage kept everyone else out as well, meaning it was just the two of them for the entire match. That made things so, so, so much better, and fed into the old-school air. Rhodes hitting a Cody Cutter off the side of the cage, Solo's superplex and Cody's cross body from the top all looked spectacular.

One of the best modern-day cage matches you'll see anywhere.
