9 Ups & 3 Downs For AEW Collision (22 July)

2. Was... Was That Kevin Dunn?

WWE's Kevin Dunn is famous for his dizzying, overly-done camera cuts, and over the years WWE has missed major moments - think Edge's first Spear back after enforced retirement - in live time due to Dunn's eagerness to make his audience queasy.

Of course, AEW's production thankfully doesn't feature anywhere near as many camera cuts as WWE, but that's not to say Tony Khan's promotion is immune from such errors. Case in point, the finishing sequence of Jay White & Juice Robinson vs. Darius Martin & Action Andretti.

The match itself was good - more on that shortly - but AEW bafflingly missed White hitting the Blade Runner on Andretti to seal the 1-2-3.

That finish saw Robinson hit the Juice is Loose on Action, who was then nailed with the Blade Runner as Juice took care of Martin on the outside. Unfortunately, the live feed bizarrely opted to cut to Juice and Darius rather than focus on Switchblade hitting his finishing move on Andretti.

Ian Riccaboni called the Blade Runner. The crowd reacted to the Blade Runner. The Blade Runner had done enough to put Action Andretti away. It's just a shame that we didn't actually see the Blade Runner in real time.

This is only a minor quibble, but it's something that is impossible not to address here.
