9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 17)
2. It Belongs To Them
When a match between Suicide and enhancement talent Gio began, you knew something was going on. There was no way that match was actually going on without any sort of shenanigans. As soon as Eric Young and Joe Doering made their way to ringside, it became clear, with Doering decimating both men all on his own. A scathing promo from 'The World Class Maniac' followed, with the former two-time World Champion claiming the world belonged to him and Doering.
Follow this up with the newest pairing in Impact Wrestling clearing out Rhino and Heath in the backstage area, and you've more than established Doering within Impact after just two appearances. The former AJPW Triple Crown Champion is, without a doubt, one of the most destructive men the company has ever seen.
When he dropped the World Championship to Rich Swann at Bound For Glory, it wasn't entirely clear what laid ahead for Eric Young. This alliance with Joe Doering is perhaps the best thing he could have done. He doesn't need anyone by his side, of course, but the sheer visual of Young and Doering stood together is enough to send a message to the locker room.
