9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Nov 3)
6. Narrative Controlled
Your writer wasn't overly fond of EC3 and Moose's cinematic encounter at Bound For Glory, though, it did give us one positive: this new persona for the latter.
The reigning TNA World Heavyweight Champion entered last night's show in a sharp black suit, complete with a new classical intro to his entrance track. 'Mr Impact Wrestling' spoke of how he's undefeated on Impact pay-per-views, before listing off the names he's defeated since arriving in the company back in 2016: Rob Van Dam, Rhino, Ken Shamrock, EC3 - the list goes on. Despite all of this, Moose's TNA title still isn't classed as a sanctioned championship in Impact, meaning he's often overlooked in favour of the World Champion, Rich Swann.
Not only this, but Moose then laid out Willie Mack for the second week in a row. 'Chocolate Thunder' rushed the ring in chase of the TNA champion, resulting in him being choked out at ringside with the help of a camera cable.
That far more vicious side to him that Moose showed at Bound For Glory? Yeah, it wasn't just for 'The Essential Character'. It shouldn't have been that way, anyway.
