9 Ups & 3 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Oct 6)
4. Winners In Defeat
On paper, Rosemary & Taya Valkyrie vs. Kiera Hogan & Tasha Steelz didn't mean much. Hogan and Steelz have used Taya to leave their mark on the Knockouts division, with 'The Demon Assassin' being drafted to deal with the issue as a thank you to 'Wera Loca' for assisting with her wedding plans.
Given the fact there are stars to be created in Kiera and Tasha, it was a shame to see them lose to the former rivals, but that's not to say there wasn't anything to praise the duo on here. Without a doubt, this was the finest performance 'The Hottest Flame' and 'The Boricua Badass' have had together since forming their alliance.
Aside from the nasty bumps they took on their necks throughout the contest (seriously, they're lucky it wasn't more severe), Hogan and Steelz were on fire. They isolated Rosemary from Taya in the middle of the contest, while both also showcased their intense striking ability on both opponents. Kiera Hogan, in particular, packs quite the superkick.
Even though they lost the match itself, Kiera and Tasha came away from the match looking stronger than they did going into it. You can't fault that.
