Ready for another point you might shout down?!

The overall level of hatred during the build to Drew McIntyre vs. CM Punk was scorching, but it didn't really come across during their first match against one another. Perhaps that had more to do with Seth Rollins being a constant distraction as special guest referee than anything else, but the lack of brutality stood out.

Being fair, all three guys have history and had a story to tell, but it would've helped the match big time had Drew or Punk been more sadistic throughout. They pretty much just wrestled a regular match other than the opening punch out. Beyond that, the story was way more about Rollins than Punk vs. McIntyre.

Again being fair to WWE, there's still more to come. Bad Blood is approx two months away, and there's ample time to build to a Hell In A Cell war between both men (or something like that) for the show. Dunno', it did kinda feel like Seth was too much of a distraction for the pair's first scrap.
