3. Literally A Pointless Match

To reiterate a point from a couple of weeks ago, Rich Swann was the IMPACT World Champion a matter of months ago. Willie Mack was the X Division Champion just over a year ago. Them vs. the Learning Tree's Zicky Dice and Manny Lemons (Diced Lemons, surely?) should not be viewed as a big deal.

Though they easily defeated Brian Myers' goons, this shouldn't be the sort of match the pair is involved with. Willie spent a large chunk of time mocking both lads, going so far as to twist the nipples of Lemons (chants of 'squeeze the lemons' garnered a chuckle, but that's beside the point). Their match-winning tandem move looks solid, but the match should've already ended by this point.

It then didn't help that Myers led an assault on Rich and Willie in the match's aftermath. He downed Willie Mack with a Roster Cut, before the entirety of the Learning Tree did their best 'look, mum, I'm a strong boy now' pose for the hard-cam. It looked pathetic, which is sort of the point, but it shouldn't have been the case given their opposition. None of this worked the way IMPACT wanted it to.
