9 Ups & 4 Downs From Impact Wrestling (Feb 25)

2. Rohit Raju - Actually Good?

The Desi Hit Squad are more or less hit or miss when it comes to Ups and Downs. One week, they'll be absolutely superb, and the next, it's like they're a completely different entity. Thankfully, it was the former case for this week, as DHS member Rohit Raju took on Wentz of The Rascalz.

As it turns out, Raju is a wonderful singles wrestler. Sure, having Shera adds a whole different dynamic to the Gama Singh-led group as he's a towering monster of a man, but Rohit is a gift in his own right. His fast-paced arsenal makes him a joy to watch when he steps between the ropes, something we don't get to see too often. That needs to change.

He was busting out all sorts of amazing moves, including a devastating pouncing knee strike followed by a leaping Flatliner that spiked Wentz into the mat. A missed Swanton Bomb from Wentz, which came after a distraction from Shera on the ring apron, allowed Rohit to follow up with a double stomp to the back for the three. Even the slight assistance from Shera didn't take anything away from Rohit's incredible performance here.

Whenever (or if) Raj Singh returns, pair him with Shera, and let Rohit Raju be the singles performer of the group. Maybe then they'll find some level of success that isn't just winning a match here and there.
