9 Ups & 7 Downs From Last Night's WWE SmackDown (Apr 30)

While not quite as exciting as the fake leaked Money In The Bank lineup that hit the internet earlier this week, SmackDown populated their side of the men's and women's ladder matches well last night.

Bayley was announced as the first blue participant early on. Her inclusion was a must, so that made for a great start. Later, WWE unveiled an athletic phenom in Ember Moon, the much-improved Carmella, and future star Mandy Rose to complete the eight. Kairi Sane and Asuka are almost certainly wrestling The IIconics on 19 May, so it's hard to complain about this lineup.

On the men's side, SmackDown are bringing Randy Orton, Andrade, Finn Balor, and Ali to the table. That's three in-ring phenomes and one of the best heels in the company, contrasting Raw's approach nicely.

As fun as WWE stuffing these bouts with high-workrate internet favourites would've been, they were never going to do that. This is about the best fans could've hoped for, and your writer can't wait to see wrestling genius, Baron Corbin, AKA 'The Best Wrestler Of All Time,' drag these guys to five stars.
