9 Ups And 11 Downs From WrestleMania 32

9. Why Bother, Brother?

When the Dudley Boyz turned heel on the Usos a couple months ago, it looked like the perfect way to revitalize an Attitude Era tag team that was treading water and give the tag team division a legit heel team.

Instead, we got a stalled feud that dragged out until Sunday night, when the Usos dispatched of them in five minuteswith a series of superkicks, then splashed them through tables to bury them. And just like that, the Dudley Boyz€™ renaissance was pretty much declared over before it could even get past the first step.

But here€™s the other problem with that: It was at the hands of the Usos, who have gotten a noticeably cool reaction from the fans since returning. They are no longer the hot young tag team they were when they were tearing up the tag ranks a couple years ago.

For better or worse, fans aren€™t responding to the Samoan brothers like they were, so having them knock off the Dudleys just like that probably wasn€™t the best move if WWE was going to pull the plug on the Dudleys at this point.
