After an underwhelming WrestleMania match last month, Edge and Randy Orton returned to WWE programming to reveal that Edge was ready to move on, while Orton was gritting his teeth and informing him that the better man won at Mania.

But then we found out that Orton didn’t mean it. In fact, he was full of a huge excuse – that Edge hadn’t beaten anyone yet. He hasn’t even wrestled a match yet, just hidden behind specialty bouts. Orton then challenged Edge to a traditional one-on-one wrestling match, a challenge that left Edge speechless as Raw went off the air.

Obviously, Edge will accept the challenge, but seeing the doubt in his eyes was perfect, and it’ll be interesting to see how the Rated-R Superstar addressed it in the coming weeks.
