See, now this is the Dean Ambrose fans really can rally behind. The goofy, jokey Dean is great and all, but a blunt, direct, sarcastic Lunatic Fringe is exactly what WWE needs right now. Ambrose didn€™t even bother hosting his WWE talk show Monday night, opting instead to call out Payback opponent Chris Jericho and run him down.

To his credit, Y2J didn€™t disappoint on his end. Jericho alternated yelling at Ambrose and berating the fans, always a sure way to garner some heel heat. The feud has moved well past the point of being solely about the talk shows €“ though Jericho clearly still harbors strong feelings about that €“ and now is focused on the growing hatred the two have for each other.

By the way, Jericho urging Ambrose to get down on his knees and kiss his $1,500 boots was pure gold, especially when he noted that each boot cost $750. It was such a snobby thing to say, which makes him a great foil for Ambrose as an anti-hero.
