2. Heat Via The Wayback Machine
In the Burning Questions column, the question was posed about how Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens would turn up the heat in their feud. The duo managed to do exactly that by doing something suggested a while back: WWE ran a video package tracing their history together as friends on the independent circuit, right up through NXT and to the present.
It was a beautifully done package, starting with their first WWE encounter at the Royal Rumble and then jumping back 15 years. The video detailed how Sami won the NXT Championship when Owens debuted, which hurt KO (he won the title first), and then came back to the present. Owens made himself out to be a victim because his beef was business, but Zayn has made it personal. Thats a pretty brazen statement, right in line with his character.
