9 Wrestling Stipulations That Are Better Than Getting Fired

6. Dolph Ziggler Doesn't Get His Rematch

On RAW this past week, Luke Harper surprised the WWE Universe by winning the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler. This was after he suffered a beat down at the hands of Harper, Rollins, Noble and Mercury. Despite showing a lot of heart and determination, the creepy-looking Harper managed to take his title from him. A possible stipulation that could€™ve been added to Ziggler himself would€™ve been for the Authority to completely revoke the rematch clause that he had as Intercontinental Champion. Their justification for doing so would simply have been that they€™re the Authority and they can do what they want. It€™s the easiest way of getting more heat towards the evil Authority, and a good way to keep fans firmly behind Ziggler. While Ziggler clearly deserves better than being Intercontinental Champion in 2014, he was doing well as Champion for a while, and it appeared to mean a lot to him. As such, the threat of never getting that rematch again would€™ve added to his fire, which in turn would€™ve led to a greater effort on his part to defeat the Authority at Survivor Series.
