9 Wrestling Stipulations That Are Better Than Getting Fired
5. Getting Sent Down The Card
The most unlikely entry on this list, this stipulation would basically entail all of Team Cena to lose whatever spot they had on the roster and start from the bottom again; and yes, this includes Cena himself (which is why it is so unlikely). This stipulation would see Team Cena all get sent to the low-card, wrestling in the opening matches and losing to other stars who were once below them. It would change the entire dynamic of the WWE roster, to see the men who were main-eventing Survivor Series beneath them in terms of status on the show and in the locker room. A lot of fans would interpret this decision as burial, which has often been associated with wrestlers constantly losing. However, in this case, it wouldnt be burial because it would serve a greater purpose. All of Team Cena would take their punishment in stride, while at the same time building for a true conclusion to the Authority storyline. The current one seems rushed and uncoordinated, especially given the contradiction between Cenas supposed hostility towards the Authority, and the title shot against Lesnar that they granted him. A true conclusion would come at WrestleMania, between the Authority and Cena, or some combination of the various members of both teams, which would give more grandeur and significance to the event. While many have grown tired of seeing the Authority every week, maybe giving them a devastating loss at WrestleMania would be a great way to end the authority characters once and for all.
