9 WWE Clash Of Champions 2020: Gold Rush Impulse Reactions

4. The Street Profits (c) Vs. Andrade & Angel Garza

There was lots to not like about this match before the bell, but the wrestlers themselves weren't at fault for this abbreviated battle between the familiar foes.

On the Kickoff Show, Angel Garza and Andrade were scripted to call Zelina Vega "baggage" and "the past" respectively, as if she wasn't the sole reason for them getting/being over in the first place. That instilled the rather uncomfortable feeling that Vega - herself a loser earlier in the evening - was going to be positioned as the reason for their failings this year. Regardless of if that was the original idea, we never got a chance to see.

Angel Garza appeared to suffer a leg injury of some description during the bout, leading to a Street Profits victory despite Andrade very obviously rolling a shoulder for two. What first appeared like another referee flub ended with concerns not just for the wellbeing of Garza, but of the reality that this feud subsequently still isn't quite finished.
