9 WWE SmackDown Angles That Should Follow Money In The Bank 2017

7. Turn American Alpha Heel

Despite their strong run and catalog of great matches as one of the most prominent acts in NXT, Jason Jordan and Chad Gable have been ready, willing but unable to make the same connection on the main roster. They were touted as a big deal prior to their call-up, but so far their impact has been virtually non-existent.

All of the goofy charm and insane athleticism that got them over in developmental has been toned down and that's greatly limited their ability to recreate the same success they enjoyed before joining the blue brand. With New Day now in the mix and Breezango's face turn booked directly by the fans, American Alpha has now fallen even further down the ladder of face tag teams on SmackDown.

The best solution would be to turn them heel and give them an edge, something the pair has been sorely lacking. Sometimes smart fans view heel turns as the ultimate solution for a talent struggling to get over, but in this case it's appropriate.

The two would be excellent as the cocky jocks that know how good they are, and having them be the ultimate culprits behind the tormenting of Breezango would be the easiest way to accomplish the turn. The audience is all-in on The Fashion Police and revealing Gable and Jordan as their secret rivals would pit them against the fans in a hurry.
