9 WWE SmackDown Angles That Should Follow Money In The Bank 2017

6. Corbin Vs. Nakamura

Baron Corbin is now Mr. Money in the Bank. Holding the briefcase is a concept that always works better with a heel because of the opportunities for a cheap shot cash-in that it provides. Ideally a face would only use the guaranteed title shot with proper notice, exhibiting their nobility rather than taking the easy way out.

'The Lone Wolf' was the right choice to leave the arena with the case. In doing so, he attacked Shinsuke Nakamura before the bell and laid a beatdown on him so vicious that it appeared the Japanese star might not participate in the match at all.

We now know that wasn't the case, but 'The King of Strong Style' should have a serious issue to address with Corbin, and it needs to happen soon if he's to continue with the momentum he built last night. Shinksuke stumbled a bit right out of the gate, but the St. Louis crowd came alive for him at Money in the Bank, and his performance in the match was more in-line with what his many fans expect from him.

Nakamura's limitations will be more obvious on the main roster than they were in NXT, and he's going to need to be booked as strongly as possible to overcome them. These two have a ready-made feud all set to go, and with the briefcase in his possession Baron can afford to come out on the losing end of a series, because his eventual cash-in will erase that from the short memories of wrestling fans.
