9 WWE Superstars Who Could Be So Much More Than They Currently Are
6. Andrade "Cien" Almas
A star in NXT, it can be argued Andrade "Cien" Almas might just be the best in-ring performer in WWE. Called up to the SmackDown Live brand, he's finally getting recognition in matches that mean something, while offering more than an off-and-on showcase with enhancement talent. Still, it's taking WWE much longer than it should have to catch on.
Despite producing five-star quality matches in NXT, Almas was announced for the blue brand and then wrestled only a couple of times in a couple of months worth of programming. A tremendous technical talent with the ability to capture the Latino market in the way past performers like Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio or Alberto Del Rio did, Almas is not someone WWE should be overlooking.
Potential dream matches with the likes of Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Shinsuke Nakamura, Finn Bálor and Seth Rollins make Almas a talent to watch. WWE just needs to stay committed to using him the way they have the past few weeks. He needs to be a WWE Superstar who regularly shows up to demonstrate just how good he is. Once he builds that reputation on the main roster, there may be no stopping him.
