If hardcore fans in the UK are giddy about seeing The Golden Lovers reunite, then they'll be borderline passing out at the thought of seeing CM Punk and Samoa Joe square off at Wembley Stadium. This match could easily main event the entire card and nobody would blink.

The nature of their revived feud dictates Joe must be physically dominant for a spell. He’ll bring the thunder, but Punk should weather that storm and survive. Being totally candid, this writer isn't entirely keen on the ongoing “Real World Championship” stuff, but more on that later. Still, everyone knows this will be great fun.

It’d be awesome to see some callbacks to previous matches they’ve had too. ROH's biggest fans from back in the day would have a Leonardo DiCaprio pointing at the TV meme moment if they spotted some stuff from 2004 and the original trilogy overall.

Play the hits, but do so whilst honouring the story told on weekly AEW telly.
