AEW All Out 2023: 10 Nightmares That Could Come True

4. Don Callis Wrecks A Killer Match

Don Callis is a top wrestling manager, and this writer (as a former manager himself) appreciates what he brings to the table. However, picking one's spots is crucial when managing, especially if you're around ringside for a hotly-anticipated match. Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita is certainly that.

Most of the build towards this match has revolved around Callis turning on Kenny and Omega's revenge bid. That's cool, but AEW shouldn't shine all of the spotlight on that by having Don interfere too much on Sunday night. In fact, keep his involvement in the bout bell-to-bell to a bare minimum.

Omega and Takeshita deserve that, and so do fans plonking down pay-per-view dollars.

A sideward glance over at Paul Heyman on the WWE side should reveal the best course of action. Paul E rarely gets physically involved in Roman Reigns' matches unless it makes sense. Picking Don's spots and making sure they don't encroach on a killer match is gonna be key.
