AEW's version of WarGames may not go down on 25 March as planned.

AEW's special Blood and Guts episode of Dynamite could be rescheduled as the ongoing global situation continues to wreak havoc on the pro-wrestling calendar.

PWInsider are reporting that the pseudo-WarGames match will likely be pushed back from next week (25 March), marking the show's second major change. Dynamite was originally set to go down in Newark, New Jersey before the crisis hit, but is now expected to be an empty arena show in Jacksonville, Florida instead.

There's no word on when the replacement date could be. Also announced for 25 March is a Luchasaurus vs. Wardlow lumberjack match and a parking lot brawl between Best Friends and Lucha Brothers.

PWInsider note that Dynamite is still scheduled to go ahead next week, despite constant references to these matches going down on the "next Dynamite" rather than "next week" throughout yesterday's show.

Moving the Blood and Guts match makes sense. Such a spectacle demands a hot, engaged audience, rather than last night's atmosphere in Daily's Place. A handful of wrestlers were sat at ringside to generate ambient noise. Not a bad compromise by any means, but WarGames needs a booming building, and a cluster of random wrestlers can't create that alone.
