AEW Double Or Nothing 2020: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. AEW Keep It Short-Ish

There's no need to make Double Or Nothing some four-hour spectacular that sags in the middle.

WWE led the way by keeping Money In The Bank brief, and fans appreciate shorter run times occasionally. Counting the pre-show tag, AEW's pay-per-view has one more match to offer than WWE's show, but that shouldn't extend the overall length by much.

Somewhere between two and a half hours and (a rounded) three hours sounds good. Double Or Nothing 2020 doesn't have to be loooooooong. It can feel epic without an unnecessary added hour just for the sake of ego; WrestleMania has tricked many into thinking bigger, elite-level supershows need to go on as long as possible.

They really don't.

By keeping things fairly short, AEW will be doing themselves a huge favour. Some bouts, like Shawn Spears vs. Dustin Rhodes, Britt Baker vs. Kris Statlander, MJF vs. Jungle Boy and even Jon Moxley vs. Brodie Lee, don't need to be especially lengthy anyway.
